Capital Campaign: 110 Livingston

Having established ourselves as a vital and growing organization that has curated over 750 performances, creating a passionate and rapidly growing audience of an estimated 50,000 members, forging partnerships with the leading cultural institutions in New York and garnering the support of prominent foundations, arts councils and the city government, we are prepared to establish a long-term home for our organization.

Out of a pool of more than 100 of the city’s top cultural organizations, ISSUE has been awarded a 20 year lease at the 5,000 sq ft. landmark theater at 110 Livingston Street in Downtown Brooklyn by the Two Trees Management and the City of New York in which to build a permanent home for experimental work.

While this is an extraordinary opportunity, it is also an enormous challenge. We must raise well over half a million dollars towards our 2.5 MIL capital campaign to renovate the space and prepare it for a year-round program of music, film, video, and literature. Please join us on this amazing journey toward building a world-class center for experimental culture in the heart of the increasing growth and expanding cultural developments happening in downtown Brooklyn.
