Malcolm Goldstein has extended the sonic boundaries of improvisatory practice and the violin since the early 1960s. Tonight, he presents a 4-part solo program dedicated to Ornette Coleman, including Coleman's 1986 composition "Trinity", a modular suite of solo pieces dedicated to the performer.

Ongoing Series

A 2-night spotlight on Graham Lambkin's Kye label features Call Back the Giants, Malcolm Goldstein, Matt Krefting, Vanessa Rossetto, James Rushford and Lambkin— who also presents a tape work by Henning Christiansen. Performances weave together concepts from the sonic and visual arts, as well as sounds of the everyday.

Our two-night spotlight on the Kye record label closes with a solo performance by improvising violinist Malcolm Goldstein, and Kye label-head Graham Lambkin duo with James Rushford. Lambkin also presents a tape piece by Henning Christiansen, a Danish composer and an active member of the Fluxus-movement.
