ISSUE is pleased to present the premiere of Episodes et Mutations, an immersive performance + light installation by Leila Bordreuil & Doron Sadja. The performance is presented as a part of the French Institute Alliance Française’s Crossing The Line Festival and is performed by celebrated ensemble Mivos quartet.

Drawing its participants from the first 10 years of ISSUE Project Room’s Artists-In-Residence Program, AIR Alumni Collaborations is a performance that brings together former ISSUE resident artists in striking new combinations.

The String Orchestra of Brooklyn performs the World Premiere of four new works by young composers at the forefront of composition and improvisation: Eli Keszler, Catherine Lamb, Zach Layton, and Doron Sadja. Now in its third edition, this year's "String Theories" is presented in collaboration with Roulette.

Onda, Raissnia and Doron Sadja perform with paintings, film/slide projectors, tape recorders, tube amps... Projecting 16mm film and slides onto the black surface of oil paints, Raissnia creates a deepened sense of immersion in an alien landscape, while Onda's soundscapes challenge the boundaries of the picture plane.

Doron Sadja premieres Breath, Heart, Skin— a new work for solo electronics utilizing ISSUE’s multichannel sound system. Delicate, slow, and synthetic, the work combines pristine electronics with lush romantic synthesizers, extreme frequencies, and computer-enhanced cello, clarinet, and percussion.
