Susan Alcorn is a Baltimore, Maryland-based composer and musician who has received international recognition as an innovator of the pedal steel guitar, an instrument whose sound is commonly associated with country and western music.

Featuring works by Anthony Coleman, C. Spencer Yeh, MV Carbon, and Eric Wubbels.
This two-night program feature a huge lineup of some of Sweden’s most exciting experimental musicians. Performances will include collaborations between U.S. and Swedish artists. This night features The Skull Defekts, Mats Gustafsson, Ikue Mori + Ida Lunden, CM von Hausswolff, and Mats Lindström + Anna Koch.
As an improviser, Yeh is focused on developing a personal vocabulary using violin, voice, and electronics. As a sound artist/composer, Yeh works with all aspects available surrounding a work, aurally and physically, as elements key to the cumulative experience.
