Winter ISSUE is an Art Lottery and party benefiting ISSUE Project Room, featuring a special performance by Chelsea Light Moving. Guitar legend and polymath Thurston Moore’s latest project, CLM play neo-no mantra psyche pummel for free-heads and sweet-minds. With drinks designed by David Wondrich— the world's foremost expert on the history of the American cocktail— catering by Lucullan Foods, and performance artist Joseph Keckler as MC, this is an event not to be missed! Art lottery ticket-holders each take home their pick from donated works of all media, created by leading voices of the New York art world.

Marcus Schmickler & Yarn/Wire

Piano/percussion quartet Yarn/Wire premiere a new work by German experimentalist Marcus Schmickler, a microtonal work for keyboards and mallets, juxtaposing fixed pitch with pitch continua. Schmickler also presents a new eight-channel electronics work tracing parallels between linguistics and sound.

Artist-in-Residence Raúl De Nieves and Colin Self premiere their new multimedia chamber opera, "The Fool." A four-act work scored for chorus and string-ensemble, "The Fool" is a mystical and allegorical journey performed by a group of friends in their quest to unite themselves one with the other.

One of the most finely tuned ears in music, Berlin's RB has described his music as “playing the traditional music of imaginary species.” He plays solo alongside fellow PAN artist Eli Keszler. The percussionist/composer debuts a new trio work featuring performers Tom Chiu and Leila Bordreuil.
