The US debut of Deceh features members of Eleh and Srines. Deceh use analog modular synthesizers to reveal and utilize the harmonic content in acoustic instruments. These harmonics are paired with the ultra-high resolution of the Serge Modular system for a deep sonic experience in full fidelity. For this performance, Deceh will be assisted by Kevin Doria on shruti. Eleh's last performance at ISSUE in fall 2013 was called a "panegyric for the experiential properties of unusual sound frequencies and the power of modular synthesizers" by the New York Times.
Total Life is the solo project of Kevin Doria, founding member of the dronegaze band Growing. Total Life released a split with Deceh on Important in 2013, as well as two full-length albums with Important forthcoming. This fall, Total Life tours in support of Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
