A Major Milestone + $15,000 Matching Opportunity

We are thrilled to announce that ISSUE Project Room's historic space will undergo its long-awaited renovation project beginning in February 2015. Managed by NYC's Department of Design and Construction with architecture by WORKac, the renovations will realize our late founder Suzanne Fiol's vision to establish a permanent home for experimental artists in Brooklyn. The 18-month project will create a state-of-the-art facility with an acoustically tuned performance space, lounge and ticketing areas, and integrated multi-media and recording capabilities.

During construction at 22 Boerum Place, ISSUE will seamlessly maintain programming around the city through partnerships with a vital network of peers including Abrons Arts Center, Artists Space, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Wooster Group's Performing Garage, and more to be announced soon. Upcoming highlights include the celebration of pioneer Tony Conrad's 75th birthday, the return of Tectonics Festival New York, and new commissions by our 2015 Artists-in-Residence.

As we present across New York City, your support is critical to the sustainability and continued growth of ISSUE's creative community. As an extraordinary catalyst for our year-end fundraising drive, The Robert D. Bielecki Foundation has generously pledged a $15,000 matching grant. ISSUE must raise $10,000 by the end of 2014 to earn the match.

Please consider donating or joining as an ISSUE Member now. Your continued support allows cutting-edge experimental music and performance to continue to thrive in NYC. Your timely donation is even MORE effective with 150% matching support from Robert D. Bielecki Foundation! Pay-by-month subscriptions are now available at all levels, including our year-long All-Access pass. We look forward to seeing you with one of our presenting partners soon and at the grand opening of our new space in Fall of 2016.
