2015 has been a momentous year for ISSUE Project Room. Following the start of renovations on our theater in February 2015, ISSUE undertook nomadic programming, presenting more than 60 events at 20 venues. We commemorate the season with photos of some of our favorite moments.
On view beginning March 8, Georgia Sagri’s Daily Bread is a streaming online exhibition and series of public and private performances conveying states of loss, mourning and offering. Sagri performs throughout the installation, in live readings and voice-over, with musical accompaniment by Hunter Hunt-Hendrix.
ISSUE is pleased to announce the selection of our 2014 Artists-in-Residence: Raul De Nieves, Moriah Evans, Peter Evans, Georgia Sagri, and Gillian Walsh. ISSUE's AIR program offers artists an opportunity to develop significant new works in partnership with ISSUE over the course of the year.
