ISSUE Project Room presents an evening of collaboration between Bhob Rainey and Jason Lescalleet, nmperign (Greg Kelley/Bohb Rainey/Sean Meehan), and Jason Lescalleet with Graham Lambkin.
ISSUE co-presents installations and performances at Ende Tymes VI on Thursday, June 2nd at Knockdown Center. The festival's opening night features a reception for installations followed by performances from Jason Lescalleet, 5chimpfluch Grupp3, Heat Identity, KILT, Hive Mind, and Aki Onda.
Horn improvisor/composer Anne Guthrie and Austin-based composer/violist Vanessa Rossetto play their first collaboration. Tokyo-based composer Taku Unami performs with the object-oriented Devin DiSanto, also a first-time duo. Kevin Drumm and Jason Lescalleet combine their expansive sounds for a surely epic closing set.
The second night of Amplify 2015 sees first time duo performances by Michael Pisaro with Ben Owen, and Graham Lambkin with Taku Unami. Olivia Block and Jason Lescalleet present a collaborative composition for inside grand piano, amplified objects and real-time processing.
The 9th AMPLIFY series, presented with Erstwhile Records, Fridman Gallery and Shared Shapes, features three duo sets each night with performers Olivia Block, Maria Chavez, Anne Guthrie, Devin DiSanto, Kevin Drumm, Graham Lambkin, Jason Lescalleet, Sean Meehan, Ben Owen, Michael Pisaro, Vanessa Rossetto, and Taku Unami.
ISSUE & Antholgy team up for an eclectic/electric evening with Jason Lescalleet, one of America’s most dedicated sound artists. Lescalleet commissioned 13 artists to create videos for the 13 tracks on the first disc of "Songs About Nothing", tonight features the audio-visual album plus shorts by collaborators.
Two unique presences of underground culture, Graham Lambkin and Jason Lescalleet began their collaboration in 2008, pushing their respective aesthetics to extremes. Tonight they give their third duo concert at ISSUE, celebrating the release of Photographs, joined by composer and performer Seth Cluett.

The second evening of “Voices and Echoes” presents a series of unique collaborations including Otomo Yoshihide + Marina Rosenfeld duo, Gozo Yoshimasu + Tamio Shiraishi + Cammisa Buerhaus trio, and Akio Suzuki + Jason Lescalleet duo.
This concert marks the release of Graham Lambkin and Jason Lescalleet second album, Air Supply. They describe their music as “musical settings for common environments and domestic situations,” and almost all of their source material is taken from field recording made around Lescalleet’s house.
