ISSUE Project Room is thrilled to host pioneering multimedia artist Joshua White and his legendary Joshua Light Show for a week of unique audiovisual collaborations. The residency will involve White’s iconic projections alongside an incredible roster of musicians each night of the residency.

Pioneering experimental composer Morton Subotnick premieres a new collaboration with Berlin-based video artist, Lillevan. The duo of composer and turntable artist Marina Rosenfeld and analog synth innovator Ben Vida reprise their improvisational collaboration first presented during Vida’s 2013 ISSUE residency.

David Grubbs reads from "Records Ruin the Landscape: John Cage, the Sixties, and Sound Recording", his long-awaited study of the role of sound recordings in representing experimental music of the 1960s. Grubbs is joined in discussion by a "jukebox jury" including Branden W. Joseph, Lisa Kahlden, and Marina Rosenfeld.

An evening of improvised duets featuring Marina Rosenfeld closes electronic composer Ben Vida’s 2013 residency. A leading voice in the increasing hybridization between the domains of visual art and music, Rosenfeld performs on turntables. Vida plays a digital/analog hybrid synth.

The third Swedish Energies festival closes with more of Sweden's most progressive performers.
