Known equally as a composer of large-scale performances and an experimental turntablist, Marina Rosenfeld is a leading voice in the hybridization between visual art and music. Rosenfeld discusses working methods and influences with fellow turntablist Philip Jeck in anticipation of his upcoming concert for Touch.30.
Turntablist Philip Jeck performs live with Ted Riederer on electric guitar and vinyl lathe. Riederer records and cuts the performance straight to vinyl as it happens, handing these records instantly to Jeck. The process repeats continuously as the music evolves. Ken Montgomery will perform “8-Track Magic”.
