ISSUE Project Room presents MV & EE augmented with Samara Lubelski, Willie Lane and John Moloney

Chelsea Light Moving, the new project from Thurston Moore, Keith Wood, Samara Lubelski and John Moloney give their New York premiere in support for Charalambides’ Tom Carter. Guitarist Steve Gunn and White Out with Dave Shuford round out the bill. All proceeds go directly to Tom Carter.

Release party for Marcia Bassett & Samara Lubelski’s album Sunday Night, Sunday Afternoon on Graham Lambkin’s KYE label. Improv trio The New Monuments (C. Spencer Yeh, Ben Hall, and Don Dietrich) and Oslo-based noise artist Lasse Marhaug will both perform on the same evening.

Flowers & Cream, an independent poetry publishing imprint founded by Sonic Youth songwriter Thurston Moore, features work by young, emerging poets steeped in contemporary poetic practice and investigation/illumination. The evening features Moore joined by Elaine Kahn, Anselm Berrigan, John Coletti and more.

Minor Musics: Finland features a rare live Kemialliset Ystävät performance with New York collaborators Raphael Lyon (aka Mudboy), Samara Lubelski, Marcia Bassett, Michael Bernstein, Taylor Richardson, Tom Carter, Dave Nuss, and Pete Nolan.
