MATA Interval 2.1: Music of the Dublin collective Grúpat

MATA kicks off the second season of its bi-monthly series, Interval, with a program of music by the radical and enigmatic South Dublin collective Grúpat. Curated by Irish vocalist and composer Jennifer Walshe, Interval 2.1 features the collective’s music performed by Ms. Walshe and NYC-based group, Object Collection.

Jacob Kirkegaard's new work Labyrinthitis is an interactive sound piece that consists entirely of sounds generated in the artist’s auditory organs – and will cause audible responses in those of the audience. New York-based minimalist composer and sound artist, Kyle Bobby Dunn, also performs solo.
