Hurricane Sandy Update

Our warmest wishes go out to you, your family, and your homes during this harrowing moment in New York. We hope that this message finds you safe, warm and dry.

Due to the events surrounding Hurricane Sandy, and resulting the transport shutdown, we are sorry to announce that all programs between 10/31 and 11/3 have been postponed.

“Massage Performances” by Sergei Tcherepnin (Wed 10/31) has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 27 at 6:30pm.

The reception for “Albedo Prospect” by Ed Osborn (Thurs 11/1) has been rescheduled to Friday, November 9 at 6:00pm. The exhibition will open on Tuesday, November 6, and run daily from 11am to 6pm through Saturday November 10.

The series Frances-Marie Uitti + Carol Robinson in Residence (Fri 11/2 + Sat 11/3) has been postponed to later this season, with dates to be determined.

We will continue to keep you informed of all updates through our email newsletter and website.

Those who reserved advance tickets for any of these events should have received an update by email already. If you have any questions regarding ticketing for rescheduled events, please contact amirtha@issueprojectroom.

All other programming for November will continue as scheduled, resuming on November 10th with Sebastien Roux at Reserve in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Clarinetist Carol Robinson and cellist Frances-Marie Uitti have worked in parallel for years, originating from their work with Giacinto Scelsi. Together they are spectacular colorists; two bows, birbyne, string resonators, basset horn, in improvisations and compositions using naked sound and electronics.

RESCHEDULED! Artist-in-Residence Sergei Tcherepnin will premiere a new six-channel composition to be played through your body. The Massage Performances will be limited to a small number of participants, seven massages per evening with a waiting room for a small audience. RSVP required.
