Sound artist and musician Sydney Spann presents their final presentation as an ISSUE Artist-In-Residence with a live performance alongside poet and musician Kiera Mulhern at MITU580 in Gowanus, Brooklyn

Sound artist and musician Sydney Spann continues their 2022 ISSUE residency with a live performance in collaboration with artist Michelle Luong at the Ridgewood Reservoir in Highland Park, Queens. This collaborative performance is a continuation of Spann’s curiosity about childcare, sound, and psychoanalysis.

ISSUE is pleased to invite members to an artist talk and reception with 2022 ISSUE Artist-In-Residence (AIR), sound artist and musician Sydney Spann at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. The evening will serve as an epilogue and celebration of Spann’s first commissioned work as an ISSUE AIR.

ISSUE Artist-In-Residence, sound artist and musician Sydney Spann presents "Cow, Cow, Cow, Rabbit, Recalcitrance, Bunny, Dog, Dog, Dog" a performance-activated sound installation using the entirety of CPR- Center for Performance Research's theater & gallery space.

ISSUE streams Attached or Detached (partial disappearance), a new work by sound artist and musician Sydney Spann. The piece responds to Sari Dienes’ poem-score, “Experiment," included in Womens Work Volume #1, 1975.
