An evening of collaborative, improvisational video and music. Joining Kendall are musicians he's worked with in the past -- Vortex (Satoshi Takeishi & Shoko Nagai), o.blatt (Keiko Ueinishi) and Bradford Reed & Bill Bronson -- plus pianist Anthony Coleman and his Hellbender Film Projekt video-partner Al Griffin.
There will be 4 sets of exploratory performances. The artists will focus on the interaction of visuals and sound, relying more on traditional methods of ear/eye response than overly-reactive mechanical/digital systems.
Adam Kendall is Brooklyn-based video-artist whose work has been described as "Deftly-mixed real-world sentiments with beautiful abstractions of monochrome tones and nearly organic shapes."
