Peggy Cyphers

Mark Dagley

Mark Dagley’s recent exhibition at MINUS SPACE was selected as a Critic’s Pick in Artforum. He is also known as a member of seminal punk bands the Girls and Hi Sheriffs of Blue.

Matthew Deleget

James Esber

Kenji Fujita

Joe Fyfe

Allison Gildersleeve

Joanne Greenbaum

Elana Herzog

Unweft, a survey of Elana Herzog was at the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art 2009. She has had solo and two person exhibitions in numerous venues, including the Aldrich Museum, Smack Mellon, the Herbert F. Johnson Museum, LMAKprojects, and PPOW.

Gilbert Hsiao

Gilbert Hsiao is represented by Minus Space, and has exhibited internationally. His paintings seek to create "a viewing experience that would require the observer’s involvement over a period of time, much as the experience of listening to music requires."

David Humphrey

David Humphrey has received a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Rome Prize among other awards. An anthology of his art writing, Blind Handshake, was published by Periscope in 2010. He is represented by the Fredericks Freiser Gallery, NYC, and teaches at Yale.

James Hyde

James Hyde's recent solo shows include Shau Ort, Zurich, Satellite FDC, Brussels, and Villa du Parc Contemporary, Annemasse, France. He has received both Pollock Krasner and Guggenhiem grants. His solo show "Resevoir" opens in 2013 at Albright College.

Warren Isensee

Warren Isensee shows with Danese, NYC. Of his most recent solo exhibition the NY Times wrote, "[Isensee] knowingly manipulates obsolete elements of Modernist style while delivering objects of almost hallucinogenic visual intensity."

Art Kane

Art Kane is a legendary New York photographer who made the historic Harlem 1958 Jazz portrait, and whose music archives include The Who, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Doors and more.

Shirley Kaneda

Bill Komoski

Andrew Moore

Carrie Moyer

Sara Greenberger Rafferty

Sara Greenberger Rafferty has had solo exhibitions at MoMA PS1 in 2006 and Rachel Uffner in 2009, and has more than 5 exhibitions opening around the world in the coming year. Her work is included in the permanent collections of MoMa and the Whitney.

Walter Robinson

David Row

Kevin Ryan

Kevin Ryan is concerned with modes of representation in an expanded energetic field. “Noveller Fades” is part of a series of cymatic images created by photographing visual patterns of sound waves from music in water. He is represented by Robin Rice.

David Scanavino

Karen Schifano

Minimalist Karen Schifano received fellowships at both the MacDowell Colony and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and has shown widely in group and solo exhibitions in the United States.

David Shapiro

Ward Shelley

Ward Shelley's projects freely mix sculpture and performance. His series of diagrammatic paintings, timelines of culture-related subjects such as the careers of artists working in de-materialized media, have been published by Bomb. He teaches at Parsons.

Gary Stephan

Gary Stephan has shown his painting and sculpture since the late 60s. He has had solo shows in New York at Bykert, Mary Boone, Hirschl and Adler, and Marlborough. His work is in the permanent collections of the Met, MoMa, and the Guggenheim, among others.

Steel Stillman

Steel Stillman's paintings explore the relationship between minimalism and representation. His abstraction disregards the purity of high minimalism in favor of the specificity of the real world. Hi is a contributing editor to Art In America.

Julianne Swartz

Julianne Swartz is a cross-disciplinary artist who employs light, sound, objects, and photography to create events and experiences that defy corporeal expectation. Her work has been shown at the Whitney, PS1, and the High Line.

Stephen Westfall

Roger White
