Dorit Chrysler's solo career was built around songwriting, guitar playing, and the theremin and her hallmark vocal style. She participated in a new wave band in Austria until she moved overseas to front the NYC band "Halcion". Subsequently, Dorit drove the rock1n1roll style to a more abstract form, stripping it down to the essence of song writing and switching between pop and electronica, interpretation and improvisation, classic and innovation.
