ISSUE Project Room presents a site-specific, multi-video projection installation of Shimpei Takeda.
Born in Japan in 1982, Shimpei Takeda currently lives and works in New York City. Takeda uses digital photography and video to capture scenes from both the urban and the natural worlds, creating unique and expressive visual landscapes.
Takeda's work has been shown at Knitting Factory (New York, NY), Weisman Art Museum (Minneapolis, MN), Toomey Tourell (San Francisco, CA), among other places.
