Chelsea Light Moving is a band started by Thurston Moore to play neo-no mantra psyche pummel for free-heads and sweet-minds. Thurston plays electric and 12 string acoustic guitar damage, Samara Lubelski destroys violin and bass notes, Keith Wood rips holes in every guitar, and John Moloney is a beast on skin thump. They have new free songs online at http://chelsealightmoving.blogspot.com/

Steve Gunn is one of the most exciting American guitarists working today. His solo discography, as well as his work with GHQ, should be well known to folks who have followed Three Lobed recordings over the past several years. Gunn is joined by Percussionist John Truscinski, a stalwart of the American underground in his own right through his dedicated work in x.o.4, Slaughterhouse Percussion, as well as with GHQ, and Justin Tripp on bass.

White Out, whose core membership consists of Lin Culbertson (analogue synths, autoharp, flute, mystery electronics and otherworldly vocals) and Tom Surgal (drums, devices, celestial bells etc.) continue on in their unwavering assault of the sound/silence continuum, generating a healthy mixture of fear, spatial disorientation, cosmic ennui, and occasional beauty in their sonic wake. Six albums in, working with a variety of labels like Ecstatic Peace, ATP and No Fun, White Out has accumulated an impressive array of enablers along the way, including Thurston Moore, Nels Cline, Jim O’Rourke, and William Winant among others. White Out’s latest release is entitled Asphalt And Delay, on the Belgian audioMER label, which marks the band’s first full length album foray in to the exploration of duo improvisation.

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, David Charles Shuford is the body behind Speer. After moving to New York City in the early 90s, Shuford forged a path as a musician adept in multiple sounds and styles. A member of the No Neck Blues Band for 15 years and running, he has also engaged his mind and fingers in other groups such as Enos Slaughter, The Suntanama, Egypt Is The Magick #, and Coach Fingers.
