Pianist, composer and improviser Walter Frank was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He graduated from Conservatorio Municipal de Musica Manuel de Falta in 1996. In 1997 he was awarded the Lev Zion scholarship by the Council for Higher Education in Israel. He pursued his graduate piano studies at The Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music and Dance and then in 1998 in the graduate program at Tel Aviv University. He has recently earned his MA in Composition and Performance at Wesleyan University.
