Tons of talent takes the ISSUE stage by storm in a night of two sets.

Monsturo (David Kendall & David Rothbaum) are joined by Bryan Eubanks at ISSUE Project Room. Each will present their current solo work with their respective idiosyncratic instrumentation.

Ashley Paul/ Eli Keszler combine sustained resonances with constantly shifting jabs and attacks. Keszler’s bowed metal and driving percussion, and Paul’s expressive reeds and floating vocals, creating deliriously eye opening moments. The duo will be joined by some very special guests.

Vic Rawlings (amplified cello and surface electronics) teams up with pianist Gust Burns. Margarida Garcia and longtime collaborator Barry Weisblat are joined by Aki Onda on tapes and electronics. Trombonists Tucker Dulin and Bryan Eubanks share a new piece for trombone and sub-tones.

Join ISSUE Project Room and Lisa Cooley for the opening of "Creswell Crags", an exhibition examining aspects of the primal or the ancient. With performances by Barry Weisblat, Toshio Kajiwara, Aki Onda, Margarida Garcia, and Bryan Eubanks.

Jason Kahn, Byran Eubanks and Andrew Lafkas meet for the first time to perform two sets of improvisations.

Thursday, November 30th, ISSUE is pleased to premiere Berlin-based composer Bryan Eubanks’ “Object V” and composer and percussionist Sarah Hennies’ “Contralto,” two new works employing unique compositional strategies.
