Friday, October 20th, ISSUE presents a public performance celebrating the work of pioneering French composer Éliane Radigue, presented as a part of The Austrian Cultural Forum’s Moving Sounds Festival. The evening spans her acoustic and electronic compositions and features the world premiere of OCCAM RIVER XVI.

Clarinetist Carol Robinson and cellist Frances-Marie Uitti have worked in parallel for years, originating from their work with Giacinto Scelsi. Together they are spectacular colorists; two bows, birbyne, string resonators, basset horn, in improvisations and compositions using naked sound and electronics.
Clarinetist Carol Robinson and cellist Frances-Marie Uitti give a free lecture with music examples, a demonstration of their pioneering techniques that have expanded the fields of their respective instruments. "Composing with Random Generators" is led by Robinson, and "Strips, Tubes and Code", by Uitti.
