ISSUE Project Room presents: Bioluminescence, the collaborative duo of Lesley Flanigan and Luke Dubois, Fair Use Trio, and Bradford Reed & Adam Kendall.

The Loud Objects, that smoky trio of international live-action precision noise solderists, present a special gala col-la-bor-a-tion with fifteen of New York City’s finest top notch musicians.

Lesley Falnigan performs with her Speaker Synth: a sculptural instrument she built to make music as she samples sounds from her voice and feedback to create a pallet of melodies and rhythms. Also featuring a performance by composer and performance artist, Connie Beckley.

ISSUE presents the collaborative debut of musician/vocalist Lesley Flanigan and cellist Mariel Roberts, together performing new work for amplified speaker instruments, cello, electronics, and voice. The evening also sees musician Lazurite (Megan Moncrief) performing abstracted rhythmic noise.

Lesley Flanigan performs with ISSUE's unique speaker system, turning each individual speaker into a voice of its own, orchestrating them to perform as a hanging choir above her. The room resonates with sounds of her voice in multiple spaces, as she builds a choral arrangement that feeds off itself.
