Join us for an evening in celebration of ISSUE Project Room featuring dozens of literature’s finest poets followed by a bacchanalian celebration and performance by These Are Powers.

Legendary composer-performer Charlemagne Palestine performs alongside stalwart NYC poet Steve Dalachinsky as a part of the the 2018 Brooklyn Book Festival, co-presented with BOMB Magazine. Interdisciplinary artist Dawn Kasper opens the evening, enacting part two of a new improvisation titled A, B, C : 0, 1, 2, 3.

ISSUE brings together venerable improviser Loren Connors, vocalist and flutist Isobel Sollenberger, best known for her fronting the celebrated Philadelphian psych band Bardo Pond, and poet Steve Dalachinsky for a layered evening of guitar, flute and poetry.

Ora Clementi play with subtleties of sensory perception, invoking a dreamlike context that hovers between musical performance and pure abstraction. Vito Ricci combines his recordings with live sound, performing on computer, modular, and “wrench guitar” with special guests Lise Vachon and Steve Dalachinsky.
