ISSUE presents “Arrow & Synchronicity” by French multidisciplinary artist Annabelle Playe. 2025 Suzanne Fiol Curatorial Fellow Kenneth Jiménez will present his first program, Dormir, Enlaces, exploring the potentiality of sound through oneiric photography by Emiliano Zúñiga Hernández.
For her first commission, 2025 Artist-In-Residence Zosha Warpeha will adapt the tuning of her sympathetic-stringed Hardanger d’amore in response to the acoustics of the 22 Boerum Pl. theater.

2025 Artist-In-Residence Jackson-Pratt’s first commission, The Microscope’s Slide: Live Painting Music No. 8 (for T.M.), is a multichannel performance piece using microphonic electronics and reactive canvas.

ISSUE is pleased to present Metanoia, a work-in-progress solo performance at 22 Boerum Pl. by 2025 Artist-In-Residence Qiujiang Levi Lu (卢秋江). Using geophone sensors, a customized in-mouth speaker, feedback, body drumming, choreographed movements, and interactive light installations, the piece amplifies and externalizes what is otherwise unseen and unheard.

Building on their 2021 digital commission as part of ISSUE’s Distant Pairs series, Sofia Jernberg and Tomeka Reid reunite for ISSUE's 2025 Winter Season Opening concert, live at Brooklyn Music School. This event showcases Jernberg and Reid in a unique quartet, joined by NYC-based pianist Craig Taborn and Norwegian bassist Ole Morten Vågan.
